Expresá tu Identidad

The strategy abandoned passive representation for active authorship to mitigate the tokenism risks inherent in standard corporate launches. By repositioning the brand as pure infrastructure, the framework transferred narrative control directly to the local underground.

The Business Challenge

A traditional, top-down corporate exhibition for adidas’ "Always Original" campaign risked severe accusations of "diversity washing" from a highly critical local audience.

The structural challenge demanded a bypass of superficial marketing exercises to build authentic cultural capital through verifiable, active support.

The Creative Strategy

The strategy dismantled the traditional exhibition model, replacing corporate curation with community-directed authorship.

Operating strictly as infrastructure, the framework transferred total content control to the local underground. This structural shift mandated end-to-end community sourcing, ensuring that 100% of the event staffing—from main-stage artists to hospitality personnel—originated directly from the target minority demographic. To enforce absolute inclusivity, the concept eliminated VIP tiers, subjecting both influencers and the general public to an identical, unsegmented experience. Finally, the execution bypassed commercial flagships in favor of an off-the-beaten-path cultural venue, stripping away corporate pop-up aesthetics to secure an authentic, native environment.

The Experience Design

The spatial design engineered continuous engagement to combat event fatigue among younger demographics. Bypassing main-stage monoliths, the layout deployed modular micro-stages:

  • Continuous Rotation: The format ran simultaneous 20-to-30-minute interactive sessions, enabling attendees to curate a fast-paced journey and eliminating density bottlenecks.

  • Live Co-Creation: A real-time mural room physicalized audience input into a collective, unbranded canvas.

  • Unfiltered Narrative: A dedicated spoken-word stage framed a trans non-binary slam poet, isolating the raw, oral performance from brand filtration.

  • Horizontal Dialogue: Workshop rooms dismantled the standard stage-to-audience hierarchy, converting passive attendees into active participants through activist-led dialogues.

  • The Social Hub: A central decompression area managed traffic flow between short sessions and facilitated organic community networking via a live DJ set.

The Outcome

The activation repositioned the brand from a corporate sponsor to a cultural facilitator. The structural enforcement of community-led casting and modular spatial design generated high-signal, authentic user-generated content. Ultimately, this organic authorship delivered the cultural proof of concept required to secure a second iteration of the platform.
